Which browser should I use?
The on-line application form and ability to purchase dental merchandise require browsers that
support encryption, such as:
- Netscape Navigator 2.0 or later
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 or later
To download one of these browsers, please click on one
of the links below:
Download the latest version of Netscape Navigator
- Fill out the "Netscape U.S.-Only Software Eligibility Affidavit."
- Type in the required information and click "I declare that the above is true"
- Chose the version of Netscape for your operating system and click the start download button - all US versions at this site have 128-bit
encryption.
- Once you have downloaded the file, please double-click it from File
Manager (Windows 3.1), Windows Explorer (Windows 95 and Windows NT), or
just double-click it (Macintosh) to install. UNIX users will need to
uncompress the file by typing "gunzip -N [filename]".
Download the latest version of Microsoft
Internet Explorer.
- Follow Microsoft's instructions to verify if your browser is in the US.
- Fill out the "Export Notice and Acknowledgement" form and click "I
understand and acknowledge this export notice."
- Choose the version of Internet Explorer for your operating system and
download the file -- all US versions at this site have 128-bit
encryption.
- Once you have downloaded the file, please double-click it from File
Manager (Windows 3.1), Windows Explorer (Windows 95 and Windows NT), or
just double-click it (Macintosh) to install. UNIX users will need to

If you access PIC through America Online (AOL), you
need to download AOL 3.0 with encryption. Use the following
procedures to download the AOL browser:
- Select the Keyword menu item in AOL.
- Type the keyword: 128 browser.
- Follow the directions provided by AOL.
