Purpose
Clinical evaluation of Barricaid compared to Coe-Pak hard and fast setting.
Results
- 38 contralateral surgical sites
- Before surgery and at 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after surgery
- Barricaid showed less plaque accumulation.
- Gingival inflammation and pocket depths were similar.
- Time of application was similar.
- Barricaid was more retentive and cohesive.
- Based on esthetics and overall assessment patients preferred Barricaid.
