This study was to compare clinical and histological results after perio flap surgery with and without dressing and to subjectively evaluate postoperative comfort
Materials and Methods
- 7 patients
- FTF with osseous in 20 Quads.
- Half of the quads received a noneugenol dressing and the other half was left undressed.
- Gingival fluid, Ging Index, Pocket depths and patient comfort were studied up to 16 weeks.
Results
- No difference in clinical parameters.
- Patients reported more pain and discomfort when dressing was used.
