Evaluation connective tissue reaction to an experimental visible light cured periodontal dressing (Barricaid)
No severe reactions were observed in groups 1,2,3. Reaction in groups 1 and 2 were moderate at day 28. Group 2 showed a delayed response, being still moderate at 90 days while the ones in group 1 were mild on days 28 and 90. Group 4 presented severe inflammation and necrosis at days 7,28. Conclusions : the dressings elicited comparable reactions; However Coe-Pak elicited a delayed response which was not observed with the experimental dressing
