GINGIVAL CYSTS, NEOPLASMS and PSEUDO-NEOPLASMS

There are many tumoral and tumor-like conditions that can affect the gingiva. Here, only those conditions that arise de-novo in the soft gingival tissues will be considered. Therefore, gingival growths which in reality are neoplasms or pseudo-neoplasms arising from the underlying bone will not be presented.
