Geriatric Dentistry Fellowship, WLAVAH 1999-2000

General practitioner, private practice for several years, taught in the restorative division at UCLA School of Dentistry from Jan 1997-June 1999, then came into the Division of Advanced Prosthodontics, Biomaterials and Hospital Dentistry. Currently, teaching full-time in hospital dentistry and in the preclinical and clinical courses for dental students in removable prosthodontics. In private practice, one and a half days a week .

Research/Creative Activities

Dental biomaterials, biofilm adhesive studies, special patient care in dentistry.

 

Patient Care Activities

Treat special needs patients, immunocompromised patients, geriatric patients, dental phobic patients. Regular dental setting, conscious sedation as well as operating room dentistry (general anesthesia).


Courses taught

Preclinical, and clinical restorative, preclinical and clinical removable prosthodontics to the dental students. Lecturer and co-chair for Introduction to Hospital Dentistry, as well as various special emphasis seminars, and lectures for the general practice residents.
