Dr. Bibb received her Ph.D. in Developmental and Cell Biology from UC Irvine in 1971 and her D.D.S. from UCLA in 1978. For the next 15 years, she practiced general dentistry while teaching and doing research on a part-time basis at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Currently, she is a full-time Adjunct Professor, dividing her time between academic responsibilities in the Division of Oral Biology and Medicine and administrative responsibilities as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs.

Research/Creative Activities

Dr. Bibb’s current creative activities focus on issues of student recruitment and retention, factors that contribute to successful student performance in the clinic, mentoring future dental educators with teaching apprenticeships, and effectiveness of teaching styles and assessment strategies.
