Housing Options & Living Accommodations

The Los Angeles area is very large and offers a wide choice of living opportunities. The average cost levels are considered to be high by comparison with most other cities in the United States. Most graduate students live off campus in private or University-owned apartments.

Students in Preceptorship Program can choose to rent an private off campus apartment during their stay. Accommodations on campus are not available to preceptors. The UCLA International Student Center and the UCLA Community Housing Office have experienced volunteers which can counsel you about what to look for and what to do to rent or lease an apartment. They can also assist you in finding a roommate to share housing expenses.
